The position on the wall decides: full sun or year-round cold-weather running, FX; covered position, MX.
Yes — the operating range is −30°C to +50°C, so it can be switched on and used through frost and sub-zero evenings, not just stored through them. For UK beer gardens running fixtures deep into winter, that's the practical difference.
